PARENTAL RIGHTS AMENDMENT

ARTICLE 28 (or alternate number to be assigned by Congress)

Section 1.  It is the right of every citizen to train up their children according to their conscience, faith and capabilities without interference from the State. The rights of parents and legal guardians to choose how they will raise their children are foundational to a free people.

Section 2.  Parental Rights consists of the responsible exercise of parental authority over their children for their children’s instruction, welfare, discipline, education and training.  Parental Rights also include the authority to discipline their children with reasonable corporal punishment for the purpose of correcting wrong behavior and to instill in their children good morals and good values that properly respect the rights of others and that foster respect for America’s unique heritage and history.  

 Section 3.  This Article does not prevent Local, State and Federal authorities from enforcing reasonable laws that are for the protection and welfare of the American people. 

Section 4. To secure the rights of citizens, Parental Rights shall not be denied any parent or legal guardian within the United States which shall include the Several States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and the territories and possessions of the United States.

Section 5. Congress shall have the power to enforce by appropriate legislation, the provisions of the Article.

Step 2)  Submit your Petition to State Legislator's directing them to Call on the United States Congress instructing Congress to convene the Parental Rights Amendment "SINGLE ISSUE" CONVENTION.  Click this link and complete your Submission Form:

Step 3)  Submit your Congressional Petition directing Congress to send the Parental Rights Amendment to the States for ratification before the States complete their Calls instructing Congress to convene a "Single Issue" Convention:
