INCREMENTAL LEGISLATION
Incremental legislation was a strategy Pro Life
Organizations adopted 25 years ago to counter the decimating consequences of
Roe v. Wade on the American nation. It took Christians almost 15 years
before they decided to take some action to counter abortion in America. By
this time 17 million Unborn Babies had already been murdered in the womb by
America's women. Unfortunately, incremental legislation was too little, too late and a poorly
conceived counter strategy.
Charles Kacprowicz, Founder and National Director of Citizen
Initiatives, started to warn America on January 23, 1973 (before the first legal
abortion occurred) that incremental legislation alone will fail to stop abortion
in America. Only an amendment to the United States
Constitution could permanently protect the Unborn Child. As resistance to a
proposed Unborn Child Amendment through Congress grew, Charles developed
a new Constitutional strategy under the authority State Legislatures have in
Article V. The effort to protect the Unborn Child evolved into the "Single Issue"
Unborn Child Amendment
Convention.
The following text message was sent to a pro abortion advocate:
"..........., we have the right, authority
and God given responsibility to protect our children and heritage. I as a man
am not defined by feminist, liberals, progressives, Marxists, or anyone else.
I have not been sissified, like so many American men, by wimps in the
Republican Party or liberals in the Democratic Party. I am a Christian man who
recognizes that the Unborn Child in my wife's womb, is my child, not a piece
of tissue that she alone can decide if he should live or die. 50 million
babies have already been murdered by our women, 200 million grandparents have
no grandchildren, 50 million fathers have no heritage, 50 million women have
been cheated out of a sane motherhood, $18 trillion in taxes were never
collected and $80 trillion in GDP has been lost forever. Our brainwashed
feminists will answer for each child they have aborted. God will not look away
from this. Each child, from conception, is made in the image of God. That's
where we get our value. May the Lord Jesus have mercy on this nation and
restore us to biblically based sanity. Proverbs 14:34 'Righteousness (God's
morality) exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.' Go to Psalm
94:16,20 where the Lord asks who will stand up against the evil doers.
