CONGRESSIONAL STRATEGIES

 

Both Houses of Congress:  Signed “Redress of Grievances” petitions from all 50 States will be sent to Congress directing Congress to send each proposed Amendment to State Legislatures for ratification before they are forced to convene a Convention.  Congress will not want to be forced by State Legislatures to convene a Convention.   As the Calls from the States begin to mount, Congress will see the writing on the wall for many of the proposed Amendments and voluntarily send the Amendment to State Legislatures for ratification.  As long as Congress has not changed the wording of the proposed Amendment, and acts before 34 States make their Calls, CITIZEN INITIATIVES will work with the States to rescind their Calls for a Convention.
