TRUTH IN EDUCATION AMENDMENT
ARTICLE 28 (or alternate
number to be assigned by Congress)
Section 1.
America’s educational institutions have a unique importance to the American
people. It is the right of American citizens to receive from their private and
public educational institutions accurate accounts of America’s history and
academic subjects that is not intentionally false, or intentionally misleading,
or deliberately distorted. This right is foundational to a free people.

Section 2.
To secure the rights of citizens it is hereby prohibited for any educational
institution, whether an individual or organization, whether
private or public, to intentionally teach to students or to the American public
false, misleading or distorted information on any and all subjects. The
provisions of this Article are enforceable within the United States which shall
include the Several States, the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of
Puerto Rico, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and the
territories and possessions of the United States.
Section 3.
Congress shall have the power to enforce by appropriate legislation, the
provisions of the Article.
